ABOUT YEO YONG CHUAN (YANG YONGQUAN)

Yongquan plays a pivotal role to manage Yeo & Associates LLC since he joined the law firm more than ten years ago.

Yongquan has gained invaluable legal knowledge in the area of family law from his many years of assisting the managing director of the firm, Ms Beatrice Yeo, on a daily basis. He is proficient in providing effective legal advice, and has the expertise in facilitating mediations to achieve amicable resolutions for challenging disputes. He possesses a “no-nonsense” and straightforward lawyering demeanour, which is all aimed at protecting clients’ rights and obtaining justice for them.

Prior to being a full-fledged lawyer, Yongquan has already gained vast knowledge in the practical running of complex family law cases in all levels of court. He is meticulous and dedicated to provide solutions and support for our clients with various legal issues. Many of our clients have expressed gratitude that Yongquan’s explanation on complex legal processes and principles using layman terms have helped them in making good, informed decisions.

In his dealings with clients and cases, Yongquan is fully committed and would give his all for each case that he is entrusted with. To Yongquan, every single file deserved his one hundred percent dedication and effort. His fiery passion and commitment to work were encapsulated in his immaculate legal drafting and submissions.

Yongquan obtained his Juris Doctor degree (Law) from the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and he was the Valedictorian of the year and the top student of the Juris Doctor cohort. Notably, he scored distinction for his Bar Examination in the area of Private Client Practice, which includes Family Law, Criminal Law, Estate Law, Property Law, Employment Law, and Personal Injury and Accident. Further, Yongquan is a Certified Family Mediator accredited by the Family Justice Courts and the Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC). He is also accredited by the Singapore International Mediation Institute (SIMI) and appointed by the Ministry of Law as a Community Dispute Resolution (CMC) Mediator.

Yongquan has a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the National University of Singapore (NUS) and was an Architect practicing in Japan and China. He had previously handled real estate transactions professionally as a RES after passing the CEA examination.

Yongquan is a devoted father of three young children, reflecting a harmonious balance between his career and personal responsibilities.
